During this Rioja tour we will get closer to those small batch wine makers trying to preserve nowadays the few ancient vines still alive in the  Rioja vineyards, making resprout the forgotten varietals almost disappeared during the last decades, or keeping up the traditional wine making on their great grandparents’ cellars.

But not only the vines are deeply rooted in our Rioja tour: speaking of culture, Rioja is the birthplace of the first written words in Spanish language, today spoken by hundreds of millions of people. This Rioja tour will also take us to the monastery of  San Millan de la Cogolla, a World Heritage Site set deep in one of the most beautiful mountainous valleys of Rioja.
